"Task," a followup to the 2021 HBO miniseries "Mare of Easttown," will film scenes on the 400 block of MacDade Boulevard between Roberta Avenue and Marshall Avenue on Friday, April 12, authorities said in a release.
Police will be on the scene to assist with traffic control between 3 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday, April 13, officials said. Drivers are asked to avoid the area during filming.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, temporary no-parking zones will be established to make space for crew vehicles and equipment, including at:
- Both sides of MacDade Blvd between Jackson Avenue and Lincoln Avenue
- Both sides of MacDade Boulevard between Lincoln Avenue and Felton Avenue (half block closest to Lincoln Avenue)
- South side of MacDade Boulevard between Jackson Avenue and Marshall Avenue
- Both sides of Jackson Avenue (quarter block closest to MacDade Boulevard)
- Both sides of Marshall Avenue (quarter block closest to MacDade Boulevard)
- Both sides of Wolfenden Avenue (quarter block closest to MacDade Boulevard)
Notices will be hand-delivered to residents in the affected areas, officials said.
"We and the production company understand the inconveniences this parking restriction will place on our residents," Collingdale Police Department said.
"We will work with everyone to make this as smooth as possible."
"Mare of Easttown" starred Kate Winslet as a police detective in a fictionalized version of the titular township set in Delaware County, and filmed on location throughout the Delaware Valley.
"Task" previously filmed on location in Ridley Township in March.
